Summary: Bill of sale. Horses, mules, and cattle in Arkansas.
Know all men by these presents that I James Bryan of the county
of St Genevieve Territory of Missouri have for value received sold
and conveyed by these presents do bargain and sell to Stephen F
Austin of the County of Hempstead Territory aforesaid one yoke
of oxen one roan mule one waggon and gears belonging to it four
Horses to wit one Donnel Grey horse one Tolland Bay, Sturrard Bay,
McCoy Bay, two Cows, All at this time on the farm at the Bayou
in long Prairie. Also all the farming utensils on said farm and also
all my right interest and claim to the improvement and crop now
growing on said farm to the only proper use and benefit of him said
Austin his heirs and assigns for ever witness my hand and seal this
