Arthur G. Wavell to Stephen F. Austin, 11-16-1822

Summary: Arrival in London. Prospects good.

London 16th Novr

Dear Judge

I landed at Liverpool on the 11th and reached this place yesterday since the vessel by which forward this will sail about half an hour hence I have only time to say I am well and agreably to a conversation I have had with a very respectable merchant on the subject of our concerns I have but little doubt we shall arrange everything to our satisfaction—take care of yourself I shall write you again in a few days and believe me ever most faithfully yours

A Wavell

I say nothing of my having been stripped by Pirates off Cuba since my letters from Charleston have doubtless reached you
