Dear Sir—After My respects to you that I am well and hope you enjoy the same blessing I am about to start in two or three days to New Orleans and being in want of A pair of Pistols I beg the favour of you to lend me yourse that are at Mr. Joness. I will take special care of them and if you can let me have them I wish you to inform Mr. Jones to let me have them—
