Public Notice

The inhabitants of the district of San Felipi de Austin in Austins Colony Province of Texas are hereby Notified to convene at the house of John McFarland in Said district on Saturday the 20th day of December next for the purpose of Electing an Alcalde for Said district for the year 1824. John McFarland and Sylvenus Castleman are appointed judges of the Election and will appoint a clerk to make a record of each voter and the person he votes for Which record must be sent to me as Soon as possible.

Given under my hand at the Town of San Felipi de Austin this 3d day of Dr 1823 3d and 2d.
