I was one day late Starting of the Boy that I anticipated owing to my Losing of a horse on the rode your man Mose come back with Augustus for Eliza Brooks to ride home as my horse died on the road it will be out of my power to procure her a horse as there is none in the settlement and at the time she returns home my horse will be on the camppain the Bond that I gave you for the delivery of the Boy you will deliver Mr Vandorne in comply[ing] you will oblige me—
