Dear Sir

yours under date of the 23d Ins. is before me Mr McKinney is here and I have seen the list of articles which he has furnished for the army and I believe is nearly complete with the Exception of a few Blankets and shoes which Mr. Mills will furnish. We have now with us this day the Voluntier Company from New Orleans and a fine company they are You may be assured. they will go from this to La Bahia (Goliad) which we are informed by an Express they are in great apprehension of being attacked in a few days.—
