Charles McDormitt having made application to me Jos. Duelle Comissary of Police for the Mine a Burton to settle on a Piece of Land lying on the Mill Creek about six miles from the Mine a Burton where he wishes to make an establishment. Now be it known that I have given Liberty to the said Charles McDormitt to make a settlement on any Piece of Land not claimed by others, and there to reside so long as he shall conduct himself as a good Subject and agreeable to the Regulations of this Province.
