Summary: Bill of lading for lead ashes.


SHIPPED by Moses Austin in good Order and well-conditioned, on board of the good Brig called the Sally Ann whereof is Master, for the present Voyage, Bigby, now lying in the Port of New Orleans and bound for New York To say, Four Boxes Lead Ashes being marked and numbered as in the margin, and are to be delivered in the like good Order and well-conditioned, at the aforesaid Port of New York (the Danger of the Seas only excepted) unto Moses Austin or to his Assigns, he or they paying Freight for the said goods two dollars each Box with 5 pr Ct Primage and Average accus- tomed. In Witness whereof, the Master or Purser of the said Brig hath affirmed to two Bills of Lading, all of this Tenor and Date; the one of which Bills being accomplished, the others to stand void. Dated in New Orleans the fourth Day of May 1810
