Dear Sir

By the Opportunity of Dr G. C. Hartt I write you a few lines, wishing you to give me what information you may think worth attention respecting your new Country, also what arraingments are made respecting our business in this state—

Dr Hartt is on an exploring expedition to your Section of the Country and means to live there if he likes it better than this, I have some notion of removing there if he does, believeing this state too cold any information you can give him respecting the Country will be thankfully acknowledged by
