I authorize and empower Mr Austin to sell and convey for me fifteen thousand arpens of land on the northern side of the grant of Edmond Quirk in the Ayes Bayou, Province of Texas on such terms as he may think proper. Warranting agt. said Quirk promising to ratify whatever Mr Austin may do in the premises.—
