Dear Sir

I take the liberty of introducing to your friendly attentions Col. charles Caldwell of Kentucky, he visits your Country with the view of establishing himself therein.

Col. Caldwell's having no acquaintance in St Antonio has induced me take this freedom, which indeed I consider unnecessary, his gentlemanly address could not fail of procuring him the Esteem of all those with whom he may become acquainted.

I shall consider any attentions you may please to extend to Col. Caldwell as conferred on myself—Wishing you much happiness, and great success in your great enterprise
