Due Jared E. Groce or bearer three Hundred and twenty six dollars any forty nine cents to be paid in land at one Bit pr. acre and I have agreed Jared E. Groce shall have seven leagues of land in my colony and he has settled for five leags all to the surveying and other expences and the above sum of three hundred and twenty six dollars and forty nine cents is part of the payment of the other two leages Oct. 18th 1823
