Dear Sir

I have been informed you have purchesed five or Six Casks of powder that is for Sale for the use of the Colony, if you will Send me one of them by the Bearer Mr. Ratliff and direct me how to sell by the small quantity I will Retail it out for you as it is Verry much wanting in this neighborhood and I hope this place will emmigrate fast. I hear of several Families on the way bound for the Colorado
