this 4 Day of January 1824 I doo empower Stept F Austin to take in possession 11 mules with those marks [mark inserted] 10 mules marked thus [mark inserted] one Horse mule marked thus [mark inserted] and five Head of Horses marked As the Ten mules the eleven mules being stold or straid and five head of Horses this Given under my Hand, as a Power, attorney to empower Mr Austin to take or sease any mules or Horses with the above marks witness my [hand] this 4th day January 1824
