Summary: Request for certain land.

ColoradoJany. 23 1825

Coln. Stephen F Austin

Sir having been informed by Mr K. Alley that you have allowed me a labor at this River I wish you to enter for me the Seventh as Captain Grey has declined taking any land in this Colony and has resigned that labor in my favor I have the survey as receipt for the surveying of the thirtieth league and will get Mr. Alley's receipt for the labor and would wish to have my deed as soon as it would be convenient as I shall not be in town more than once before I go to Kentucky which will be as soon as the Grass rises in the Spring
