Sir having been informed by Mr K. Alley that you have allowed
me a labor at this River I wish you to enter for me the Seventh
as Captain Grey has declined taking any land in this Colony and
has resigned that labor in my favor I have the survey as receipt for
the surveying of the thirtieth league and will get Mr. Alley's receipt
for the labor and would wish to have my deed as soon as it would
be convenient as I shall not be in town more than once before I go to
Kentucky which will be as soon as the Grass rises in the
